Suwannee Fat Tire Festival

Oct. 24 ~ 27, 2024

Join fun in the woods of White Springs, Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center State Park.
Planning has not yet started in earnest for this event, but will likely be similar to the 2023 schedule below.
Thursday check-in starting at 2 pm. Potluck Dinner at 6:30 p.m.
Friday check in: 8 am – 8 pm; First off-road ride is scheduled for 9 am
Friday night Meet and Greet: 5 pm Wine followed by Dinner
Saturday Night: Beer Social followed by Dinner, Bonfire, Huffy Toss and Raffle.

Off-road ridingbeginners to experts. Over 50 miles of beautiful woodland trails running along the banks of the Suwannee River. Ride Guides provided.
Friday Gravel and Mountain bike night rides for experienced riders with lights.
Daily Mountain Bike Clinic – Catherine Longmire (Cat) has spent years volunteering with trail building, hosting cycling events and teaching tech clinics. Her goal is to help others find joy in cycling. Currently, she is a manager and bicycle tech at Champion Cycling in Jacksonville and is a certified Level 1 Instructor by the Professional Mountain Bike Instructor Association. SBA is excited that Cat has agreed to teach mountain bike skills clinics at our Suwannee FTF. All skill levels will benefit from participating in Cat's clinics. What's NEW: 2023 Bike Clinic Schedule
Gravel riding – Several routes are available; Maps and Strava links will be available.
Road riding – Several routes are available; Maps and Ride with GPS links will be available.

Paddle Trips – dependent on river levels and weather; led by Edwin McCook
Friday Ichetucknee Paddle. All-day paddle (bring your lunch and snacks).
Saturday Suwannee Paddle. Half-day paddle.

Hiking – Explore the natural beauty of the Suwannee Valley on the Florida Trail.

Bike & Hike to Big Shoals – Ride the Woodpecker paved trail through the woods and a short hike to see Big Shoals.

Friday and Saturday Night – Dinner

Camping (Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center State Park) – Thursday to Sunday, Beautiful full service (electricity, water) shared campsites, if applicable. New this year, reduced price for group tent camping.

Registration Rules
• Participants under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or other responsible adult. List name of accompanying adult, if parent will not be present. Children 5 and under do not receive t-shirt.
• Registration fee does not cover additional costs for paddle trips, such as boats and/or shuttle fees, if applicable.
• A $20 cancellation fee will be deducted from registration fees prior to Oct.1.
Registration deadline is Oct. 1 to guarantee a t-shirt in your size.
• Event schedules will be finalized, on the SBA Web site and e-mailed prior to the festival to participants.
