Make plans for Suwannee Sweetheart in 2025!

Due to the recent death of my husband, I am unable to pull this event together for 2024. Please check back later this year for information on Suwannee Sweetheart 2025. —Thanks, Jeanne

Pictures from the 2023 event are here.

You don't need a sweetheart to do this ride. But it is a "sweetheart"" of a route. The ride includes options of 25, 52, 62 or 100 miles. All rides start at Suwannee Bicycle Association (SBA) Headquarters, White Springs, FL. Longer rides start at 8am. The 25 mile ride starts at 9am. Headquarters opens at 7:00 Sunday morning for check-in, on site registration and breakfast which includes coffee, juice, fruit, oatmeal and bagels. A post-ride buffet dinner will be served at SBA Headquarters from noon ...until the last century rider is in. You can also check-in or register on Saturday, after 4:00.

NEW in 2023, we will offer a Gravel Ride on some of the picturesque roads in the Suwannee Valley not suitable to skinny tires!

Registration fee includes: breakfast and after ride dinner, fully stocked rest stops, on call sag, maps, and marked routes. No t-shirts this year. They were always optional and priced separately. Pre-registration is $45 for SBA members and $55 for non-members. On-site registration fee is $65 for all.

If you're spending the weekend in the area you may want to do a Saturday morning club ride with us at 10:00. SBA is having an open house and pot luck dinner Saturday evening. Bring something and come join us. Late registration and check-in will be available at that time.

*NOTE* Due to proliferation of robocalls, I don′t answer unknown numbers. Please leave a message or text "Sweetheart Ride" and I′ll call you back ASAP. Text or email is preferred. Even spammers leave voice mails. :(

You must sign a Release and Waiver of Liability at check-in before you start to ride.

On Saturday, February 11th Suwannee Hardware will be hosting their monthly Swap Meet (7am - 2pm), and Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center State Park will be hosting A Fine Folk Art Festival (10am - 3pm) by the Craft Cabins. Parking in front of HQ on Saturday won't be possible to allow for vendors, but both events should be fun to attend!
